Social Media Marketing case study: Soidesign

There has been hype about social media marketing going on for couple of years. I have learned some basic rules how this works. Now I would like to show the basic social media platforms. I use Soidesign as case study.

Soidesign is a virtual advertising agency and it is used as a case study of internet marketing. Soidesing is specialized in social media marketing.

Internet Marketing

Internet Marketing is a fairly new phenomena. It started around 15 years ago. In the beginning of new technology nearly everyone had the possibility to start marketing easily. Advertising agencies were not the best in doing marketing on the internet. Instead, computer geeks knew more about marketing on internet back then.

Now it is the same thing with social media. There is plenty of talk about people who have succeeded in social media marketing, people who do not have any kind of qualification in marketing. These are people who just spend their time using social media and accidentally found that they can make money using it.

At this point it is still quite easy to get in to social media marketing world, because there are not yet many hardcore professionals and the market is not institutionalized.
