There have been many studies on the Chinese economy and many have tried to explain the secret of the long run growth since the 80s. Now a study has arisen showing the origins of this success. 

Now it can be revealed that the success factor can be found within the cluster theory, based on agglomeration economics. The major cities in China host the highest amount of KFC's fine dining establishments in the world, and this agglomeration has created the basis for the economic success. According to reliable sources, China hosts most KFCs in the world with 4563 units, which is exponentially more than in other countries.

Bitcoin Goes to Helsinki (Bitcoin ATM)

A Bitcoin cash machine was revealed in Helsinki some time ago. This machine allows people to exchange euros into Bitcoin. The cash machines is, however, a one way exchange, hence withdrawals are not allowed.

It is interesting to see Bitcoins taking off, as the official sources and mass media are starting to discuss the phenomenon. Todays market closed at 957 dollars. Only few drops have happened recently, Bitcoin seems to be relatively stable at the moment. Now the question is, how much people trust it is as a stable medium, or is it just a speculative financial instrument. If speculators have joined the game, after quick growth, they will dump the coin. If done in large quantities, this can cause mass hysteria and bring the whole currency down. On the other hand, there are plenty of people who have invested in the mining of Bitcoin, these investors have purchased plenty of equipment. And some firms have specialized in producing the mining equipment. A completely new economy has been created around Bitcoin and other electronic currencies (for instance, Litecoin).

Finnish Bun aka Cinnamon Bun aka Korvapuusti

Recipe for 25 buns:


5 dl milk
50g fresh yeast/ or 14g dry yeast (2 sachets)
1 tea spoon salt
2 dl sugar
1 table spoon cardamom
1 egg
ca 14 dl wheat flower
100g butter


Topping:
Cinnamon
Butter
Sugar


Heat oven to 225C

Recipe with fresh yeast:

Heat the milk till body temperature and add the fresh yeast.
Add salt, sugar and cardamom. Stir and add egg. Add slowly the flower till the dough is solid, then add butter. Let the dough to rise.

Once risen, use rolling pin to make the dough into a flat surface. Then pour liquid butter on it. Pour sugar and cinnamon on the buttery surface.

Start rolling the flat dough. Cut the rolled dough into triangles. Turn the top of the triangle towards the ceiling and press the triangle with your thumbs towards the table. Brush some egg on the top of the bun.
